In the middle of the movie, Violet Bick notices George Bailey across the street and brushes off the two guys hitting on her. But she tells them to stick around. Just in case.
As she walks away, the guy in the straw hat says, “We’ll wait for you, baby!”
The movie cuts away from the two guys at this point, but I like to imagine the other guy turns to him and says, “Dude. Have some self-respect.”
