It’s funny, but for years I had this weird hurdle in my brain that I couldn’t base my drawings off of something I was seeing in front of me (or from a photo). As if that would only be copying rather than creating something new.
Like artists haven’t been drawing pictures of actual things for THOUSANDS OF YEARS.
I’m a fucking idiot.
Man. I am killing myself that I stopped drawing for so many years.
