My Nana decided she wanted my father’s ashes to be scattered at Cambridge Battery in Point Pleasant Park. She liked the idea of him being buried where where they perform Shakespeare every year. She planted a flower where we buried the ashes.
This past year, they rebuilt a part of the fortification over the spot we buried his ashes. The flower is gone. My Nana was crushed.
But I’m ok. His ashes had spread out by then. He’s all over the area now.
Anyways.
